Thinking of buying a used controller to use in my sim cockpit for navigating pimax experience/desktop etc instead of risking sitting/stepping/or some other mangling of my Index controllers while getting in and out. I can get a used black controller for around $70 or a set for $130-$150.

Unfortunately, the Vive 1.0 controllers won’t work with the 2.0 base stations. Only Vive pro controllers, index controllers, or the upcoming Pimax controllers are compatible (those with the newer sensors).

I suspected as much. Thank you. Might just buy the hand tracking module then. I know it’s not all that capable outside of pimax experience but it might just be the solution since I don’t have to risk breaking ANY controllers that way.
