For info, i plugged one of those into the usb-c port on headset and sound does come through (quality is actually really good).
Might be useful for people with faulty headphone jack 
Has to be an “active” adapter, tried with cheap ones but does not work as they don’t integrate cheap to convert sound signal.
I’ve got one on order because my audio socket is iffy and i don’t want to rma back to china
@dillanski you don’t have to rma to China.
If your unit is faulty you just have to send it to UK warehouse and once they receive it they send you a replacement.
Went through that process twice and never took more than 2 weeks, strongly recommend it.
Just open Suspen ticket and wait for confirmation.
