8KX backer here, the plan WAS to sell my vive which I got used for the wands because Pimax controllers weren’t ready
and to sell my 5k+ as soon as I got the 8Kx
now i’m questioning if it’s really going to be a sellers market considering the “viral” situation.
I know I would be less likely to go hunting for a used hmd now. … thoughts?
There’s a lot of uncertainty, that’s for sure.
With so many people house-bound, I’d think VR would be of interest to more people, especially with the release of HL: Alyx. Unfortunately, money will be tight for a lot of them, but that might boost interest in buying a used (and lower cost) headset.
