Is anyone else having this problem?
For me, this happens randomly from time to time. Think its a SteamVR bug which been there for ages. Try disabling and enabling VR dashboard in the SteamVR Settings (even if its already enabled). Also, try disabling SteamVR Home, sometimes this helps.

Yep exactly, they simply dont work anymore, when this happens.
I have the opposite problem. I cannot keep the dashboard from appearing sometimes at startup, which requires controllers to dismiss.
