Play For Dream Is this company or its up and coming Play For Dream MR headset on anyone’s radar? They’re offering an AVP competitor that looks interesting. Some red flags come up from their specs and website in general, but that could be because they’re still barely entering the western market consciousness. They plan to enter south asian market next which is where I live. Have a look.
Will definitely watch the reviews after release with great interest. But my BS detector is triggered here for sure, definitely won’t participate in the Kickstarter

The kickstarter seems more than a bit risky. I couldn’t even get my email verified by them in order to register on the site. The “PPI” measurement is odd among other things… they seem to not be in step with the rest of the industry.

Yeah not doing to good at present from what I read on UploadVR. Like the frappuccino cooled headset. Lol
I think there going to be a bit late on releasing. But who knows for sure.
Otherwise like you waiting for reviews once released.

That’s the Visor, not the Play for Dream.
The Play for Dream problem is that they manage the KS very bad, and didn’t send units to westerns youtubers.
But at least the preproduction units sems fine at HW level.

This was a nice bit…however gimmicky. I’ll wait for hands on user reviews. This controlled trickle of information is a bad sign.
