Does the pimax 8k cover your complete VERTICAL field of vision, or almost all of it?
I noticed it’s about 10 degrees larger than vive, but the vive has a fair amount of top and bottom black bar. Can someone who’s tried the 8k touch up on this uncover d topic?
The Vive (or Rift) only has ~110 degree fov, the 8K will have 200 degree fox. I guess the human eye is capable of somewhat around 210 or 220 (~) .
Vertical was the key word, I don’t know if they ever said what the vertical fov is.
I believe the vertical FOV was 110° but I can no longer remember where I read that. It’s a high as other HMD’s are as wide
[edit] 120 as below, also a handy comparison: List of virtual reality headsets - Wikipedia
Vertical is 120 degrees.

What is the FOV of Pimax 8K?
The FOV of Pimax 8K is around horizontally 200 degrees, and vertically 120 degrees, which is close to human version. What is a big FOV VR feels like? you may refer to human eyes experiences.
But my human eyes don’t talk, how am I supposed to know their experiences?
To put it in a nutshell. Look at the pics of the lenses.
The inside of the headset is pretty much mostly lenses.
If you try hard enough you may see borders. But then your trying to hard to find borders & probably as a result not playing the game very well.
