The new Pimax headsets are great. They do require quite a bit of adjustment to get perfect though.
The inconvenience of troubleshooting and changing settings could be greatly lessened with these following QOL (Quality of Life) improvements. Besides these, what QOL improvements would you like to see implemented in a future Pitool version?
• Add an option to automatically turn on Pitool if the Vive controllers are turned on (Similar to how
SteamVR boots up if you turn on the controllers).
• Add a tab in the SteamVR home menu to reset Pitool and change Pitool settings from within VR (Like how OpenVR does it).
• Make the “Reset Service” button always available through Pitool, even if the headset is disconnected.
• Add flicker adjustment directly into Pitool, for people who are experiencing horizontal lines.
• Add a convenient way to change IPD offset directly from within VR (Preferably through a menu like
mentioned above).
