[SOLVED] Unable to get headset to work, DFU in FS mode. leds blinking red green and blue

I got my headset today, after hooking it up to pitool it did the firmware update and after it did that nothing happened. no headset detected, error 20200. I cant get the firmware upgrade tool to work at all and the other upgrade tool by sj something doesnt work either.

Try rebooting your PC and try other USB ports, before trying to flash the headset. The Pimax headset seems to need a fair bit of power supplied by the USB port and some motherboard USB ports are problematic. Some people have success using a USB adapter port instead.

Bumped your user level up one. After doing rge above you mat need to run flash tool manually.

Have added Doman to your post. When you have time create a support account & file a support request. Post Supen number here.

ok so I plugged it in to my friends computer, pitool is trying to update again but the progress bar is full and I can see his background thru the hmd. does the progress bar close? when it updated on mine i closed it thinking it was done and thats how i got this problem (I think)

Should close though somee had the problem you describe here.

Close window try a reboot with headset disconnected. Launch pitool & connect headset. It might reinstall firmware & hopefully work.

If not uninstall pitool reboot & use a program like ccleaner.

Try redownloading pitool & install as admin.

Reboot & reconnect headset. If this doesn’t work may need support.

Okay checked that code. Think we need support on this. 20200 says dfu driver is not installed. Not sure if that is specific to the headset ir a general dfu driver

Support will be back on Monday. Tomorrow I believe for China.

ok wtf now its working? i have no idea what i did but i guess its fixed. lol

That’s awesome! Gotta love it when tech fixes itself mysteriously. Though I have learned when it involves a hard drive backup your stuff. Lol

Tracking do you have LHes? If not you need to click lighthouse tracking off & click through room setup until you can manually enter height.

Otherwise click in pitool downloads link in banner at bottom of first post click on Table of content wiki there are some possible LH tracking user solutions there.

ya i have lighthouses and only one is tracking i think. edit: nevermind they are both working
