The pimax 8K may have fallen or been struck. With a normal IPD I got double vision, I see two images that don’t overlap. But that’s just for play. Steam vr room with normal IPD all right.
Something happened with my Pimax 8k P2 glasses. So far it has worked properly. Now, for some reason, it’s not working properly. I’m going into the steam vr room, the picture is perfect! When I open a game, the only good thing is to remove the (“IPD offset” -10) and the eye distance to the smallest. What could be the problem? Can you help me?

What games are you trying to play? Do you have to use parallel projection for these games to work? Is it enabled in PiTool? I have found that I get the double vision thing when the game needs PP but it was not set to on in Pitool. Also have you recently updated the Pitool software, headset’s firmware, the graphics card drivers on your PC? All of those things could cause issues like this.
Pl: gunjack, epic roller. These games have worked properly so far. Now there is double vision. Could it be a problem that the glasses fell off once? Or is it a setup problem only? If I have a setup problem, what should I do? I’m still a beginner. I downloaded the new pitool program. I have updated the video card (gtx1080). I open the pitool, from there I open the steam vr. The picture here is beautiful. I’ll start with gunjack, here’s double vision.
If the problem was that you dropped the headset, I think it would affect all games.
What you are describing is a common issue when a game is not fully compatible with the Pimax’s angled screens. In PiTool, go to this page and make sure PP is on. It’s a compatibility mode (which lowers your framerate because your GPU has to render more pixels). If you have a very good video card, you might be able to leave it enabled all the time, otherwise you should only enable it as needed.
FYI - Sometimes the PiTool settings get reset, so if you have any trouble, it’s a good idea to double check and verify that the options are still set appropriately.
Yes parallel projection must be enabled with certain games
I set. Unfortunately, it didn’t help. Is it possible to reset the glasses to factory settings with the buttons on the glasses?
Remember to restart SteamVR after changing that setting
They!!! Everything is alright!!!
