I ordered the backer plan F (Purchased 8k full package and upgraded to index controllers), and got free shipping due to beeing a backer or something. So in total I paid 179$ and that included shipping according to the specification. Now I get a mail from Pimax telling me they cant send me the package unless I pay for shipping?? Could someone @here which work for pimax help me out please, I’m not even going to brother opening another ticket since it wont be attended to within months.
Im really getting desperate here, but If I know Pimax right, I wont ever get a refund even if I ask for it (which is the option im going for IF they persist in me paying any more for the controllers)

We all had to pay shipping for plan F. At the time of KS, we paid shipping for only the headset. I did not notice that at the time, but this is what Pimax stated to me in a ticket created about the same issue.
Not true. Ofc the shipping you payed for was for the full package (including stretch goals as well). It was however probably calculated as being shipped as one package. It’s unfortunate that it didn’t play out that way.

Well, here’s the problem, Pimax states that shipping cost is calculated based on weight, not on number of packages. (I recently read that on this forum on quorra’s behalf. If we paid (as i believe, we did!) for shipping for the full package at that time, it was for a certain weight. So that means, after shipping of only the headset, because they prioritised on making other headsets over completing the Kickstarter, there should be weight in shopping costs available for the other items. So no matter how it will be told, the story will in my eyes not be fair, nor true. And after all this waiting and not fullfilling promises, even when shipping costs are higher than calculated at the time, taking the costs would be the least they’ve could done.

I agree. The weight argument isn’t valid at all either. A very strange thing to say. Would you get a refund if it weighed less? (lol, hell no)
I understand that they don’t want to carry extra costs, but what’s right is right.

Yes indeed. Every package’s shipping cost is calculated according to this method.
The extra postage cost might be vary or occur when the packages were delivered in few counts. For what we understand, we will first ship the headset, after this will come with other accessories. When this happened, it made a higher shipping costs, and we didn’t earn a penny from it. It wasn’t us to decide on the shipping cost but courier company.
But Mindscan, we will forward this message to the team, we believe they can make changes on this problems. Sorry for causing so much inconvenience.

Dear @PimaxQuorra, thanks for your reply. If it sounds ok, is mainly depending on the outcome. Only real and true, direct and straight to the point answers, like: It’s at your doorstep tomorrow will do. Have had enough vague answers and promises, you know? Since i get no reply on so9263 regarding recieving the packages and starting a dispute via PayPal, i don’t know how to react atm. But thanks anyway for the intention to help.
For your team: i commented on the comments section under the ordering page and got no reply.

People were also able to “add” base station(s) to their pledge (for exemple if you backed a HMD alone instead of a full package with controllers), and in this case there was a dedicated shipping fee of $10 for one or two base stations added to your pledge:

This is a different situation than full package pledges, so I expect people in this case won’t be asked to pay additional shipping again as this was paid at the time of the KS already.

No, only once, and at the time he said the packages were on the way to the FBA warehouse. That was 6 januari. I expected it within a few days, but as you may know, it didn’t came to me. I replied again on 2 februari and again on 7 march and did not hear back. I contacted via PayPal yesterday and also no reaction. The only thing left to do was to escalate this to a dispute via PayPal and that is what i have done now. I am really sorry, that things are going this way in the years i have learned to know your company @PimaxQuorra. But the trust has gone a long time ago, and even then, i tried several times in the hope of getting at least a little bit of a functioning hmd and controllers and bs. Because i had a strong feeling of betrayal with all the promises that were constant being delayed or turned another way around, i have tried many, many ways, positive as well as negatieve, in the hope things would change. Tonight i gave up and i decided that i have been fooled long enough already. I don’t know what to say to make any sense anymore. There’s nothing left in me that makes me believe in the company in whatever possible way. Taking money is easy, really doing what you’re saying seems to be very hard???
I said many times before, that being honest and clear, is really a lot easier. Everytime it looks like a reply is sincear, if one gets any, but then the actions needed to make the promises true, don’t match the words. Every, yes every time. The only promise that was held, was getting the hmd itself. I have never seen any other item or stretch goal or promise or timeline become reality. I can go on this way, but i know, it doesn’t make sense anyway. The feeling i have is that it won’t matter a thing what people feel, if they pay more and more and get less and less, some people are very happy about that. That’s not the backers. And sending out a few items to only a few people to make the rest believe and stay waiting, in hope for recieving stuff, is something i won’t buy into anymore. Ever. I will take my loss and probably get banned for saying this. I don’t care anymore…

Sorry i was busy with other things.
Yes, i got my money back via PayPal and also a new coupon, because i had cancelled the cc kits also. So now i assume to be back to the original plan of the full package wich maybe will be delivered sometime. Of course, in our comminucation, i asked about this, but i haven’t heard back any confirmation. So without a reply to that question, i will see if i ever recieve something more than the hmd. For now, it’s still sitting in it’s box and in a cosy corner of the attic. And that’s that. My cv1 is still working fine and it does the job. Thanks for asking @Fomatter

Sorry to hear it @mindscan… we’ve all been hurt the same way, but you seem to have been given the deluxe version (in the bad way).
Too bad noone has been listening to the pleads for honesty and openness during these years. Strange really… and it can never be forgiven by way of coupons and more promises.
That being said, things are looking better than ever right now, so let’s hope for (atleast almost) a happy ending.
