Ofc there is illness. Its called life. LIFE FUCKING SUCKS. There is nothing to enjoy in it. I’d rather live my life inside some sci-fi virtual world where i can be who i want and explors lots of unknown stuff.
yeah but the sci-fi vr came from the very life you said sucks…
There is so much more beyond grandma’s basement. Have faith.
you say its only a headset, i say its the best way to dive into another world. and many people need that
Any news about the controllers?
Did Pimax see the Steam Knuckles EV2?
Can’t do much if all we have is a HMD.
There is plenty to enjoy in life. If you’re on a computer and were able to back the 8K you’re a leg up on most. I say this with the utmost sincerity, seek help. Whether it’s someone to talk to or something more, there is help out there. I love gaming and use it not only for pleasure but as an escape from the stresses of life but I still love life. A lot of that is just having a positive attitude.
Yeah well you try having ur gall removed than make some sort of IBS and live with the pain day and night and constant pressure on the lower-left abdomen and try go to work aswell. Than theres constant gas and bloating and i’ve been to so many doctors and no one know shit what is wrong with me. This issue has ruined my life complety, no social-life, can’t sleep properly, can’t stand up more than few mins, can’t sit down without feeling like organs are going to get out from the abdomen, that much pressure and gas is there.
For me life ended when i started had these issues… . What im going through right now is not life, its like im in hell already. So yeah, you get my point.
Oh bro… that. … sucks. I’m so sorry.
I doubt there’s anything us homies can do for you specifically here on the internets, but maybe just getting it out there helps somehow. Our bodies are so fragile. I know the whole ‘thoughts and prayers’ thing is overspent on the internet and perceived as being without value, but sometimes that’s all we can do when we hear about others suffering. You have mine, man. Hang in there, brother.
Edit: My doubts about the internet helping was totally wrong… you guys are awesome!
Have they looked into whether it could be diverticulitis? It matches the location that is typical for it to occur. May need a camera up to confirm it. A relative was very recently admitted to hospital with an acute case which caused a level of pain that required phenomenal doses of morphine to blunt. symptoms building up over months included transitioning from very loose bowels to constipation repeatedly, painful bloating, which transitioned to eventual acute bouts of severe pain. She has also previously had her gallbladder out which is why i was particularly struck by your description. edit i know this i surely off topic, but i think its worth it.
Somehow i understand is IBS, but i can’t understand the pressure, doesnt matter which position i am, always puts pressure there and it forms gas, i can’t stay in bed properly, can’t stay up, can’t stay sit, somehow the pressure comes from the middle towards front, like pushing something, and thats gas that hurts like hell.
If your having a lot of gas do some research into gut flora. I fixed a lot of problems I had that were from a bad ballance of gut bacteria.
get second medical opinion. for 10 years my mother was treated incorrectly, with painkillers that blunted her cognition because doctors thought she had fibromyalgia. she had polymyalgia , which is treated completely with low dose steroids. 10 years because we didn’t get a second opinion. There are good doctors and bad doctors, and good doctors having a bad day. At the end of the day someone has to graduate at the bottom of every class. Don’t lose years of your life on what may be one persons incorrect diagnosis or assumption.
Man that sucks. Did you try all the regular things like exercise, healthy diet, fibers etc already? And indeed get a second opinion man, what you have could be a lot of things. Also insist on a CT scan of your stomach/intestines.
My wife suffers from diverticulitis. She went to a nutritionist and made a lot of changes to her diet and takes a number of supplements, including aloe vera juice.
She still gets occasional bouts, but her condition is greatly improved.
I can relate. I have an autoimmune issue which causes extreme pain. I suffered for several years, until I found the right doctor. I now take 1 pill (not a pain killer, a serotonin moderator) daily and life is worth living again. I’m not pain-free and it still flares up, but the pain is greatly reduced, most of the time.
I also have IBS so I can understand sharp abdominal pains. For myself I had to change my diet (discovered a dairy allergy, gluten intolerance, issues with onions, garlic and other foods) to be able to eat and not feel excruciating pain. Everyone is different but diet usually plays a big factor. I suffer from migraines as well which vary in frequency (4 within the last week which was a bad one). Going through all the tests and ultimately not knowing what is wrong is really frustrating. In the end I discovered medical marijuana (legal in Canada) which has changed my life for the better for both the IBS and migraines.
I’m glad you have VR as something positive. It’s good to have an some escape sometimes. As my first HMD and very limited exposure to VR otherwise I’m really excited for everything VR had to offer.
Darn… I have no diseases or conditions to share
Which I hate because it always reminds me of how I also don’t have an 8K to enjoy
