The biggest problem with pinning something is that the default setting for pinning topics is that they become unpinned after you view them the first time. I think it would be a good idea in general for the forum’s default setting be to keep the topics pinned, since the pinned topics (ie Spreadsheet, FAQ, etc) are usually topics that most people would want to view multiple times.
