My headset worked for one-week. I haven’t been able to get the headset to connect at all. I’ve done the following to troubleshoot the issue.
Error:
- Checked cables, verified they are snug
- Removed any extension cables between the Pimax and my PC
- Cleanly removed all Pimax software, NVIDIA software, and re-installed. This also means I went into the AppData/ directories and forcefully deleted any Pimax references.
- Switched out various USB cards (Although the USB isn’t the issue, its a dP issue)
My video card is: EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 (11G-P4-6696-KR)
I have one main monitor connected via dP and two open dP’s and an HDMI.
Oculus Rift and HTC Vive work fine on my system. Pimax 5k+, the headset seems to be the only problem, giving me the error of Error 10600 HDMI/DP Disconnected. I’ve taken my system apart and removed anything extra, the device chain doesn’t show any issues. I’ve restarted the Pimax service, several times, verified my GPU was current. I’m running 419.35 NVIDIA drivers.
Anxiously waiting for a resolution here so I can use the headset. I was able to use it for 1-week and then I rebooted my system and it broke. I’m running Pimax Tool 1.0.1.11 Beta now (upgraded in case it would resolve my issue) but it hasn’t.
