In the lower right side of the right eye I see this black smudge. It’s not on the lens as it’s completely in focus. I thought it was dead pixels but the odd shape makes me think it could be dirt on the screen. Thoughts? Any way to remove the lens to look closer myself?
- Remove the plastic face foam holder (it may require a bit of force)
- Use a clean suction cup to pull out the lens and put it down on something that won’t scratch it (or just hold it). There may be some glue around the edges.
- Wipe down the plastic divider (behind where the lenses used to be) with something that won’t scratch it. Make sure not to spread any glue (if there is any).
For steps 2 and 3 it would be good to use a glass cleaning cloth.
