I just updated the new PiPlay 2.0.7.54 and when i tried to do the calibration my screen on the helmet went black and now only Red & Green LED flash alteratly and won’t detect it anymore…Please help!
2.0.7.54 is NOT a firmware update. It’s ‘only’ a software update for PiPlay.
If the LED on the headset flashes always red and green, it seems it is in firmware flashing mode. You can try to make a hardware reset and reinstall a firmware to the headset.
Could you explain how to do the reset (my headset serial start with 100)
Could you tell me how to do a firmware update, where is the software needed and where is the latest firmware ?

Latest firmware is 1.0.0.265.
Hard reset uses the following steps:
- Remove all cables from your computer (HDMI and USB)
- Press all buttons simultanly and hold them.
- Connect the USB cable on your PC
- After 8 seconds release the power button
- 8 seconds later release the middle button
- At least 8 seconds later release the last one
Now you have a blanc Pimax HMD. When you start PiPlay (with fully connected headset) it says, you must download and flash the firmware. Now you can do what need is. Flash the firmware and have fun with your headset
I did that and the LED on the headset now flashibg white with a little bit of red. When i start PiPlay it says that headset is disconnected and device show USB not recognize.
Where can i find the PiMax upgrade tool ?
It seem that it has been removed from site ???

It seem my computer missing STDFU.dll , can you look in your system to see if this dll is under system32

Check your piplay directory with search function. If you have a directory with that file try putting dfu tool in that directory & try launching.

Tried it and now it does not say’s missing dll but application won’t start anyway. Is application should open even if hansdet missindg or defective?
