Problems Pitool 180 Beta and Steam

SteamVR can not communicate with Pitool. Once the headset is connected to the Pitool and SteamVR is started, SteamVR will not recognize the headset. (Search is running)
Headset and Controller are flashing green. Meanwhile, SteamVR has issued all possible error codes. All components work on their own. If the headset is connected to the Pitool, SteamVR will not find it. If the headset is connected to SteamVR, the Pitool can no connect. The same with other Pitool versions. All components have been uninstalled and rebuilt several times. Windows 10 too. No remedy. System: Windows 10, latest version. Nvidia graphics driver 436.15. Ryzen 2700 and Board MSI X570 Ace with First Bios Version. ( Everything work well before ) Wanted to change the FPS rate during the game in Pitool and then Steam could not find the headset. Does anyone know a solution?

EDIT:
Now I’ve succeeded in connecting Pitool and SteamVR. App started, which is also displayed on screen as a still image. But not in the Pimax. When the controllers turn off, they will be displayed as disconnected in the Pitool. In SteamVR but as connected. (Lights continue to be green)

Almost same problem here: everything works in Pitool but Steamvr tells the headset can’t be located (no problem with LH and controllers). I had to roll back on Pitool 144.
I really hope next version will solve this problem!!!

I have a different setup than yours: win 7, nvidia 431.60, i6700k, Asus Z170 Deluxe.

I am finally setting up basestations and controllers tonight so I will be using my 5k+ finally  So Pitool 144 is the one to use right now?

Just about to install 144 or 180 myself. What is the safest update path these days? Eg unplug headset before running / leave it switched off? Current PiTool should not be running I assume?

@Heliosurge can you suggest the safest procedure when updating PiTool please? Thanks!
