PotPlayer instructions for use
After receiving the headset, I have used MAXVR, virtual desktop, PotPlayer, to play 2D、3D video.
MAXVR works badly .
Virtual home theater in Virtual desktop can work, but if the graphics are not good enough, it is easy to have a smear.
If you want high quality picture, PotPlayer will be a good choice.
Specific use way: extend mode, set the headset to the main screen, open the PotPlayer.
If it is 3D video, directly open ALT + ENTER to fullscreen. If it is 2D video, choose Video, 3D Video Mode, the 2D Video Input (Source), then fullscreen.
PIMAX’s field of view is larger, the screen has a sense of curved screen, very large, and not close to the eyes, there is an obvious sense of distance.
If you feel that the screen is too large, you can click the right mouse button - Pan & Scan - Screen Margin Settings, just set 40~50 will be OK.
At the same time, also the right mouse button - Video - Video Processing. Check a few optimized processing effects, and can use the shortcut key E, appropriately enhance the brightness (W reduce).
