If it is a mere 180 or 360 degree movie, you will only have 3DoF. So if you try to get nearer, the object of your desires will always keep its distance. Pretty much just like many guys’ real life experience…

Always trying so hard to undersell the 8K (or oversell the 5K+) even though it’s a video favouring the 8K. No impartiality here at all.

For 180 video you will out of picture even move your head a little bit becuase of wider FOV
