I want to clarify that via steamvr home pressing “more details” on the recently played games kiosk, I managed to get the dashboard open. However, I have no laser pointer or means of interacting with it.
O body else is having this issue?
It now works “fine” for me (I see laser pointer), although I prefer how things were in SteamVR versions 1.7 and earlier. For a while I stayed on 1.7.15, and then experience was as you describe. Once my primary game ceased to work with 1.7, I had to update SteamVR and got dashboard/laser pointer to show.
If you are running newest SteamVR, You might need to do clean install of SVR, That’s just a guess, however.
