I know its buggy but may be worth listing for a raw performance benchmark?
SN203. Ghosting with 144Hz too.
Yes, it’s sad
My brain is getting used to the 120/144hz drug and I can’t go back to 90hz anymore… going back is a hard punch.

i just got a nice mixture with pitool 253 and FW 264, it works flawless with the 8k+ 110 Hz and get the performance and gpu utilization 90-96%

do you get the ghosting effect when you use 110hz ?

ghosting should be a normal thing if your perfomance with 8k+ cant hit stable 110 fps or should be also visible when SM is enabled and more visible if cant hit stable 55 fps but at 5k+ (204 rev) at 144hz/72 there is no ghosting inside sims . Higher refresh rate gives me genrally less ghosting when used with SM.
Based my test:
stable 90/45 with SM = playable but visible ghosting at some objects
stable 120/60 with SM = acceptable minimal ghosting
stable 144/72 with SM = no ghosting inside vehicles ( plane , cars) only visible at external chasing cameras.
*SM = SmartSmoothing On

I use Pimax 5k+ (SN203) and I have stable 144fps in Beat Saber (flat graph of cpu/gpu usage, no spikes), but still there is strong ghosting (even in Menu). Less ghosting in 120hz (but it exists)…
So, please, stop writing about “you don’t have stable fps” or “it is because you have Smart Smoothing enabled”… Again, I have stable FPS and no Smart Smoothing enabled…

i have stable 55 fps sm on . its like when you se left and right fast you can se ghosting in fps vr etc
oke maybe is the frametime to high? First thing i would try is to get the frametime lower
I have rev 204 so your problem is probably 203 rev. issue with PT or game specific

Maybe it is SN203 only issue, but the problem exists, and I hope it will be fixed.
The issue is reproducible everywhere for me, I mentioned Beat Saber only as an example.

jaggy/shifted/distorted/wavering picture on the lower half of the right panel. The left panel and upper half right was OK

Hopefully they can make the catalyst slider perform as it is supposed to do, or offer a toggle, in future releases.

and its not being over driven, frame time around 7.2ms

Ok so the firmware is buggy then , just go down to 90 hz and the ghosting is gone
Please tell to the community Cpu, gpu, the resolution you are gaming, PP on or off , and the games where you have ghosting
