Hi All,
my Piplay is reporting that a new version is available (V2.0.7.54).

Has anyone installed it and what do you think of it in comparison to the last update?

Any improvement in ghosting?

They added support for Nolo ceiling mount 360 tracking. I didn’t notice any other improvement, ghosting ist still horrible.

They have also fixed the audio switching to a different one even if a default has been set in control panel.

I will test ghosting tomorrow as its just turned new year here and I’m off to bed in a second

Hi, how did you get the ceiling working? I have to replace files? Because i see no switch to ceiling mode option in new piplayy and links to a 360dll file some mention no longer exists, it’s been removed, link not found etc. Update says it supports nolo one switch option, but it doesnt work if i do it that way either.

Any ideas?

No, you don’t have to replace files. I didn’t find that option at first too.
It’s not in the settings… It’s that icon left to the settings gear-wheel where you can also switch between Pimax- and video mode. Click the Icon, then it shows the status of your Nolo base station and there is also the link to switch to ceiling mode aka 360° mode.

Thanks,that worked! You have to have nolo already turned on for the option to appear, for anyone else reading this.

I don’t know if this just me, but I got a Memory leak on 2.0.7.54.

The 2.0.7 version of piplay is not compatible with several Steam games, it does strange things like the controllers appearing on your back, or your virtual body spawnig far away from your hands , this issue does not occur in all games, in fact the SteamVR home works flawlessly with the 2.0.7 and in some games I not had any problem, but there are many others games where it is now impossible to play, so far I encountered this issue in
Karnage Chronicles
ALICE VR
The Talos Principle VR
Serious Sam VR (The First & Second Encounter)
The Wizards
Contagion VR: Outbreak Demo

For the time being I returned to version 2.0.5 where I never had problems with the Nolo positioning
