Just that a lot of people here will be upgrading to anything better (vr related) from different companies as it releases
I guess there is no official news because today is may the 1st. It’s a national holiday in china. So maybe there will be an update tomorrow

Can you tell us if this announcement about controllers is all pimaxUSA was talking about? Or is there anything else?
Because he originally replied in a thread about other addons and such, which we haven’t heard anything about for months, even though as far as we can all tell the hand tracking and eye tracking have been finished for months.
I really hope there is more because there is literally no interesting info in this ‘announcement’. The sword sense controllers (that all full package backers better be getting) seem exactly how they have for like a year, and all the other info is “hey we are doing a set of worse/cheaper controllers as well”, hardly an exciting announcement. It didn’t even narrow down a release date, we already knew they were coming second half of this year.
After actually watching this video i realised you also said the base stations have been announced to come out with the controllers, so not only is there no good info on anything actually useful controller or addon wise, they also are now basically delaying the basestations another 3-4months. F*ck this sucks.
EDIT: i say delayed here, because index releasing with them very soon, and questions from Dallas lately implying they were able to send them a fair bit earlier than controllers.

Really, again, insane logic by Pimax.
Only native english speakers can pronounce that word normally and people were calling them Gauntlets and anything hands related. What is swurd about these controllers? What if I want to do shooters? Now I need my Swurds 
to go shooting…

I like the fact it looks like a Knuckles and Oculus Touch hybrid. The ergonomics look really nice.
I less like that big ring, and the vague shipping dates on ‘Pimax time’.
I think i’ll hedge my bets and go for the Valve Index controllers for now. Will be watching how it plays out though.
I imagine that, regardless of the controllers chosen, the backers would receive the Sword Sense, right?
Will the controllers also have finger pressure detection, or just finger tracking?
