I just got a new Pimax. I installed as recommended.
Out of the box, it was not working. The software was searching for a Pimax, but didn’t find.
After a shutdown/startup cycle, Pimax started a firmware update. since them the led on top of the glasses are red-blue blinking, nothing is working anymore. It finds and recognizes the USB device and attempts to update again. But no further.

I suggest you to set up the DFU driver and the Microsoft common runtime. After that, replug your hdmi and usb.
Auto update didn’t work for me. I downloaded dfu update utility and latest firmware. Hold all 3 buttons then plug USB, slowly release power, down and up. Used cmdline dfu upgrade and it worked.
