Pimax Play 1.18.03.01 breaks smart smoothing

4/11/24:
Smart smoothing was finally working ok on my 8kx in revision 1.18.02.01. The 1.18.03.01 breaks it again. Now it turns on and off at random, even if I lock refresh to 1/2.
Title says it all. After years of smart smoothing being functionally useless, I could finally use it again if I wished. 1.18.03.01 broke it:

Finding the same issue with the pimax crystal, not sure if there is a way to revert the client at least?

EDIT: found the downloads…
tried 1.17, 1.16, both also issues oddly (pretty sure 1.17 was ok for me), went all the way back to 1.14, and its butter.

Yes, you can revert back to an earlier version by reinstalling.

But before that, please ensure you have removed these files and folders.
