Xbox’s problem was they spend the last E3 of 2013 talking about TV and not games and the brand hasn’t fully recovered. PS4 hit over 100million sold and Xbox One was not even close. Sony’s branding power is overwhelming right now from the start.

The xbox discussion deserves it own thread, as I have many thoughts on this.
For brevity, I will say i think Microsoft failed HARD last gen, and under uncle Phil’s watch. M$ used to be all about innovation.
The kinect is far more advanced than the ps4 camera and would have been a perfect for tracking full body if coupled with VR. M$ could even have paired an oculus go with it for 6dof full bidy tracking.
Also, remember when Phil, unveiled at e3 Microsofts brave first step into the world of VR by showing people playing xbox on a tiny virtual screen streamed to their rift?
I dont think i’ve ever heard so many crickets at e3 before. (This might be where he get’s his famous “none of our customers are asking for VR” quote)
anyway , lookimg at the sales figures I think as long as Phil is im charge, coupled with the fact that microsoft is being decimated by Sony and quite frankly things dont look.to good for Series X either.
He thinks Xbox has no time to take the risk to invest in VR until its a sure thing.

Corrected, but its wasnt an oversight as it hasnt been released. I was looking at items I could actually put a price tag on
I’m just using the Xbox vs PS as an example that brand image takes time and lots of effort to change since I’m sure most people here are as nerdy as me and know the context without it needing to be over-explained.

I don’t want any company, or individual to fail unless they earned it. Because it’s a good lesson for them.
We can argue that Pimax has lied, cheated, and stolen from customers. Whether we agree on that is irrelevant. The fact that the discussion can be had and debated, with facts, to me, is reason enough, that the company should not get the benefit of the doubt, and that a discussion about whether they should be in business at all, is a legitimate question.
Yes opinions vary. I have heard this debate about a wide variety of companies both big and small.

To be honest, I’m glad I took part in this, not an ounce of regret. I’m wondering where Pimax will grow and I’m interested in that.
A wide viewing angle is what we need.

Well, it is clear that Pimax has some drawbacks, but other headsets also have them. But other headsets cannot achieve this FOV, And Pimax is here 100 points ahead
They were able to do what others could not, and this is inspiring.
Swevier understands this and shows it in his videos (I am very glad that we do not even need anyone else. Many can be judged for bias. But he clearly believes.
In general, Pimax did the impossible, what we wanted, right?

And the community is constantly scolding Pimax. At least once someone has praised … It’s even a shame.
Pimax Quorra helped me a lot, and more than once, very good.
Of course, there is some language barrier, but what else can you say, use a translator like me.( Everything is not as difficult as it seems )
