What I (and others like me) need with the hand tracking is an overlay that just lets you see your hands in VR.
Not interact with anything, not emulate controllers. Just draw them on the VR display on top of any/all games when enabled so you can see your own hands without using controllers.
Is there any chance we could get this added? Any chance someone in the community could make it?
For anyone curious, the reason we need this is to more naturally interact with replica simulator cockpits in flight sims. DCS in particluar. So far the only company I know added this feature is SensoryX for the VRFree gloves that are expensive and also still aren’t available.
But for everyone else, wouldn’t it be nice to see your VR hand controllers and just be able to reach out and pick them up without missing by two inches and having to feel around for it when you can see it right there in front of your face? I sure would enjoy that… For that application Ideally you’d have the overlay auto-magically disappear when you have a controller in your hand.

Note to other readers: My impression from nearly 20 years in worldwide internet hobby communities is that pluralization contributes heavily to translation difficulties, especially translation to some Asian languages. Please forgive the syntax.
Problem- Many VR Pilot with home build replica cockpit. It is difficult to find REAL switch and knob in cockpit because hand not visible wearing VR HMD. Switch visible in VR but hands NOT visible. Very bad immersion.
Solution- With Pimax hand tracking, hands visible inside Pimax headset option in ALL games. This help find REAL switch and knob. Only VR “overlay” no game control !
Possible Example: Unity Scene only display hand on overlay ANY game. See hand only, no touch in game! Is possible with OpenVR Unity plugin. Another way, maybe unique Pimax VR overlay.
VERY easy for Pimax to make. One programmer very fast. Maybe Possible to make Pimax favorite VR HMD for many simulator cockpit builder. Also users probably make very good Youtube video to make excitement for Pimax for flight simulator.
