Is this the regular Leap or the Pimax Module?

It’s a pimax module.

Ehm… so, you’re not holding any controllers? Hard to tell what we’re looking at or even if these do exactly what you want

@park
Thanks for the demo video.
Without a screen of what you are doing, It could use a bit of context.
Could you please answer a few questions?

So to confirm no controllers?
Was it easy to set up to use this way?
Any noticable latency?
Does it feel reliable enough to use over controllers?
Do you still need controllers to move through menus & click buttons etc? Or can this be done with hands?
How is the experience moving in game light sabers without actually holding anything? (Presuming you’re not)

Thanks

Guessing though the earlier leap pimax module though. Looks great.

I was able to run without another controller, and the settings are simple.
But I feel that we need more time to be satisfied.

That’s right. It’s an early version.

I just wanted to show you that I can do the normal mode of the beat saver.

I remember @jonnypanic using leap v1 combined with bluetooth controllers.

I used to test with leapmotion + bluetooth controller a long time ago and still have them, but I want to run everything with a pimax module.

That does look rather promising!

I agree with you.
I’m currently having fun playing boxing and shooting games with this.

I too have a leap and like 6 bluetooth controllers from back in the day with my Pimax 4K. The leap motion was awesome in some sense but it lagged a bit.

@park How is this new handtracker performing with fast movements?

There’s also a delay, but it has improved more than the Leap motion

That’s interesting. Could you find a way to determine where it becomes a problem.
Admittedly I have no idea how to go about that
