Can the Pimax be connected to the a VR Backpack like the HP Omex X or Z? If so, how to manage the AC connector?

As long as the backpack has tye right specs it should work. As for the hmd power plug if the backpack supports a 12v output should be good. Otherwise maybe a 12volt batter pack?

its a 3.5mm x 1.35mm male barrel connector

thats 5V, the pimax is 12v, there’s a silverstone ECP-01 that works with a desktop PC, not sure if it would work with one of those you mentioned

OK, now i know what to do. yes,12 volts. I just picked a random image for the cable itself. My bad for explaining.

There was a fellow that made a sata or molex 2 12v adapter.
Just remember the pimax psu for 12v at 2amps.
If your getting the 8kX likely won’t need to worry as long as the 5v usb has sufficient power.
