So it seems the 8KX requires you to set it to ‘7.1’ under Windows sound settings to get any audio to come through the headset.
The problem I have now encountered is Dirt Rally 2.0 co-driver audio is sent through a centre channel and I do not hear it through my headset. All other sound such as music, engine noises, and ambient effects come through just fine. Not being able to hear co-driver directions makes the game much more difficult and much less enjoyable.
The recommended way to get co-driver audio is to switch sound settings from surround to stereo. But I cannot do this with the Pimax headset as then audio does not work at all. How do I resolve this? Does anyone have this working?
