Pimax 8KX & bHaptics TactVisor compatibility

Is it possible to somehow attach bHaptics TactVisor to a Pimax 8KX headset? The headset already has a 15mm comfort foam plate in place.

I am considering the purchase of the TactVisor but there are limitations as to which headsets with which it will work without a third-party (e.g. VR Cover) faceplate replacement. VR Cover does not support Pimax so I am limited with what I have.

I have the tactvisor, wide edition and it fits the 8KX, no problem.

Thank you so much for your reply. I have been scouring the internet seeking this information.

If you do not mind, I have a couple of other questions:

  1. The TactVisor will just attach to the HMD if I remove and replace the existing foam face cover, right? That is, all I need is my current Pimax 8KX and the TactVisor and I am good to go.
  2. I expect that there will be a gap in the forehead for which the current foam cover provided, right?

  2. If you mean the comfort foam size, yeah that will be missing.
