I found this, but the pimax 8K didn’t show up in the booth.
Someone should probably explain them that “Never be so clear” is not good English, let alone a phrase they should use as a slogan, lol
Indeed. I had a suggestion for them about that, but they haven’t taken me up on it. They need translators, clearly. Chatting here on the forums is fine, no one really cares about little mistakes as long as the general meaning is clear, but in marketing, and software documentation, it matters.
I am an American who has lived in Beijing for the past five years. Everything is mistranslated over here in China. When you get off the subway, they have an announcement that says, “Welcome to take this Beijing subway again.” In the demestic market, stuff like this is not a problem. However, if they want to compete internationally, they need to consider better localization. Having a Chinglish slogan like that really makes you think twice before dropping 500 dollars, or whatever the price will be.
Exactly, and it’d only cost a really small amount to translate or edit. So to save pittance during marketing preparation, they probably lost a lot of money.
Still no info AT ALL on the internet about the new 8k … Weird
