Whenever I try and launch Steam VR, Steam VR says “SteamVR Failed”. I’ve tried restarting my pc, reinstalling steamvr, and reinstalling pitool. Nothing seems to help. My headset shows up fine in pitool and tracks just fine in the Pitool home. I had this issue 2 months ago, and just leaving it alone while powered on for a few weaks allowed it to somehow fix itself. This issue seems to occur if I power off my headset from the power button for a long period of time. Is their anything I can do to fix it?
I found the issue, I’ll leave this here in case anyone else runs into it. After spending 7+ hours trouble shooting I discovered that it was Kiosk Mode. I had a Kiosk setup to run minecraft so that my little cousins could play on my computer. I delete the kiosk and it instantly began working again. Only the Lord knows why this was the issue.
