If you try to run through Wine, then something can come out. It seems recently done that Wine can communicate with USB. But officially it is not supported by Pimax on Linux.

Definitely somethimg to explore.
VERY interested in this topic as my brand new 8KX should arrive in a couple days. I only run Linux or Irix on my computers – no Windows at all.
