I honestly thing it’s simple logistics performance, including the customs processes. I guess we all had packages going bongers even if they where national - so relax, I know it’s hard but it’s worth it.

Otherwise „Treveris Treverorum“ might have gotten als HMDs first :wink: - we do have China Connection :wink: ( for totally different reasons)

I’m in the same boat. Backer number 1381 and I thought my headset would be delivered by now.

Every UK backer who were expecting their unit in 2019 is in the same boat. Still no information from anyone at Pimax regarding the UK batch… Just wish we knew what was going on.

like all other countrys… there is no specic UK Batch for UK Backers i guess. All HMDs for Europe will transit UK. We all waiting :wink:

There is definitely batches for certain countries. Every German backer and their mum has either received theirs or has shipping information about when they will be delivered.

Each large box in the pictures of units ready to send has the country its going to scribbled on the box.

We all know internally Pimax has an accurate tracker that says who’s headset was shipped and when. They also know each time they ship where those headsets are going. Instead we get a giant cluster ****. How many times must we learn the same lesson over and over and over. Its obvious they are shipping in batches to countries which means it is not really going by backer number and to the countries with fewer backers they are basically putting your headset on hold until they can group enough together to ship it to that country.

Pimax cheaping out on shipping is the majority of these problems.

After backing the Pimax 8K and following the threads and having to endure the excuses apologies and bread crumbs of “We’ll do better” I feel that I have atoned for every sin I in my life.

they dont ship to every country… I get it like this, the have distribution center depending on the continent and from there they ship the packages. A long time ago I read something from Italy but I guess its in the UK for Europe. Others are Shanghai I guess directly for Asia and maybe Australia I dont know excatly. But there wont Ship directly

Everybody would appreciate if the shipping process was more transparent and would calm a lot of nerves.

Are you implying that German backer’s mum’s got a headset for free?

Each batch for Europe is shipped to the UK, and then each box of units is then distributed from the UK to the other countries around Europe. We know this for a fact. HOWEVER, we know that many of the units for the backers in the UK were scheduled to Arrive in S/H on the 07/01 and no one has received theirs yet.

There have been multiple German backers whose units were scheduled to arrive in S/H on the 14/01 who have already received their units. It clearly shows that somewhere along the process that something has gone wrong. All we want is information as to why no one in the UK is getting their unit, even if they were sent to S/H a full week earlier.

Im from europe/portugal and didnt receive the track number and supposedly the headset its in wharehouse almost one month. just dont understand,

It’s an awful situation and it would be nice to get some answers.

I don’t know if your case is a one-off case or is all backers in Portugal are in the same boat.

Hopefully everything will get resolved soon and we get some answers :confused:
