I have seen previous threads where a guy made a cheap $30 passthrough camera module.
Before I invest money and time into making my own, can I ask a Pimax official if there is something coming that I can wait for?

No, Pimax isn’t likely working on anything like that. That’s left to you, the user. A passthru to use more than one module would actually be useful: why on earth would Pimax bother with that?
Seems like it wouldn’t be much effort to make the current hand tracking also act as a passthrough.
The hardware is there, just needs software.
I think they would sell the module with every headset if it also had passthrough capabilities.
