I was confused many times when some VR game suddently does not work any more on my system. Sometimes I found out what was problem, and sometimes I just left such game for “later”.
As a fan of flying simulations, I have XRNecksaver and Steam version Necksaver too - I love this small overlay program a lot, but many games do not start when it runs in background.
The solution is to disable this program while I play such games (i.E. VR Kayak Mirage, The Pyrate Queen, Hubris and many others).
In Steam is easy to check VR “overlays” and to disable some.
But what to do with OpenXR?
Well there is a program called “OpenXR-API-Layers-GUI.exe”, and it controls XR overlays (called layers). It shows all XR layres, and it is easy to disable/enable any, or reorder their start.

Good job Sorenon, sure more people should know about it.
