Hmm good point, if they can’t use the whole panel size anyway then just shifting the image makes a lot of sense. But still would love to hear if Pimax actually is moving the lenses, would be great to have that confirmed.

I hope you don‘t mind if not everybody considers it to be the end of the world if a couple of users blast out some opinion on reddit, based on two or three reviews (of which we cannot be sure if they are accurate).
Actually, you didn‘t even have to go that far - we have seen more alleged armageddon moments for Pimax on this forum alone than the combined cults of the Western hemisphere have anounced in the last century… 
I guess that makes all of us who still hang out here strict believers in afterlife…

Indeed. & what maybe a 10-15m try of the headset? Not much time to give it proper evaluation. And like said the forum here is doing quite well in spite of the alleged leaks.
We have closed testing being done by well known & respected backers. Atm we know 4 have been revealed & are known to have the headsets. We just need to be patient & wait for the results. Which will be either:
A) It good ship
B) Results indicate we need…

Lol ok fine but its not just that thread. Pimax is extremely unpopular over there for some reason and it does reflect in news articles released about pimax.
Well honestly I don’t really understand the optimism on this forum. It seems pretty much everybody agrees that those reviews must be fake.
I think that samsung use parallel screen while pimax 8k 's display has angle between each displays, so it may use different technique.
If one focuses only on the negative; then negativity is all one will find.
We still have no legit results of the beta test. Just unconfirmed sources with miniscule trial time.
So why focus on gloryseekers who can’t read a contract? Lol

Just a small group of malcontents in something like 3 main threads 2 of which are almost dead. Hell the one fellow proves his need for attention as he moved into the other thread. Hand waving franticly about calling out look at me.

On the contary. I just see no point on focusing on whether its ready or not.
If anything it shows the community has simply chosen to not to jump the gun on leak be it legit info or not.
We can assume during the testing they will continue to tweak the software & firmware. Make notes on issue & come up with a revised timeline if needed based on real results from real people who are spending days putting it to the 9s.

Hmm I don’t think I’ve ever seen you acknowledge something negative, you always try to spin it into something positive, deny it or downplay it. Which is ok of course, I don’t mind. It’s just that someone said he was surprised about the negativity on reddit. I said I actually find it more surprising that there’s so little of that here lately. That’s all.

Simple Growth & maturity of the forum. What I find surprising is you seem almost disapointed.
In the pimax forum, which is still pretty new and not very populated. Go into any pimax topic in any of the other vr subreddits and you’ll be met with hundreds of posts spreading all types of hate in each one.
Hmm can you quote 2 examples then? Or do you just want to make baseless insults?
I don’t need to. But if you insist due to Alzheimer’s. Just look to the delays in March. I have been vocal many times on both sides.

Just look to march when the leak of the beta test delay became known. If needed get someone to drive you. 
I will explain it. It is not optimism i think , its an even keel.
In the last several months there have been numerous baseless panics. I don’t think its intentional. I don’t think its malicious but it is what it is. and its left a mark on how quick a lot of people are to jump the gun.
With these leaks, you have 3 choices, either you believe them all, you ignore them all, or you justify where you put the line inbetween.
Provisionally i’m ignoring them all. Why, because many of the major negative claims are mutually exclusive or contradictory. Now this may be subjectivity. one mans too light is anothers too heavy. But things like the fact that one person makes a huge issue of ipd and says others had same issue, while other leaks dont mention it at all suggest at least some are wrong. One person said the tracking was glitchy as hell, others, rock solid. In the same room at same time of day, with the same game.
So until NDA comes off, i dont feel i have a valid place to put the line of truth. I know where i hope it is. that food guy is the gospel. Do i have a logical reason to place it there. no. so i wont. Thats all there is to it for me.
