As much as I am happy about it I also think because the headset has its flaws, lenses and build quality and cable issues and lack of controllers (although it was always pitched as a replacement for the Vive headset), that is not really comparable to other expensive headsets. Xtal has a clarity unmatched by Pimax and Varjo has a resolution that is out of this world (or exactly this world really). Two things only an expensive headset can bring.
