Ok I think I’ve stuffed up. When I ordered the 8k+ with the backer option I assumed it still came with the MAS, or now called SMAS. Because the 8k+ use to sell with the MAS for $999. I only really looked at the backer page for upgrading to the 8k+ which of course still has it listed for $999 discounted to $699.
So like a $300 discount. Which I thought was not bad for a loyal customer that is forsaken their stretch goals.
I actually thought the SMAS would be sent later when pimax has stock cause that was the deal with the 8k+ preorder.
But I’ve now noticed that the 8k+ is not priced with the SMAS anymore and is $100 cheaper for it. Yet I still paid $699 so only a $200 discount.
So am I getting the SMAS or not? Did I just loose $100 for being a backer? Or have I got this all wrong?
I know the price is not displayed correctly. This is because it’s archived. But as you can see you only have two options that you must select one. The standard headphone version or the deluxe headphone version which I believe was an extra $100
Originally the 8K+ Plus is with the SMAS at $999 on our store.
If you are allowed to choose in between Standard or Deluxe headphone, your order will consist of the SMAS.
The 8K+ showed on our store where selling price at $899, doesn’t come with the SMAS.
Which means the backer-upgrades to 8K+ has SMAS included (or DMAS if you chose that during order), while all current (non-backer) $899 orders are without SMAS, hence the $100 lower price.
If you ordered the 8K+ with the backer upgrade, then yes you will get your SMAS (or DMAS, whichever you chose).
Here is my order thanks SO14758 . I would also like to use my ($100 coupon for 8k - 5k+ downgrade) to upgrade my SMAS to the DMAS if possible. Thank you
We are checking the order with the team, if the SMAS is shown on your order, we will ask them to help you upgrade it to DMAS.
But you might need to create a ticket to our support team, as they need the coupon from you.
