No LED - no output

My pimax 4k went dead yesterday, No LED - Not recognized in pitool.

DFU mode works fine, LED works, and tried to flash 1.0.0.265 firmware to it, and some other versions. Flashing Works.

PI play (old versions , detects it but stilll no LED) to check firmware: no updates, show correct firmware version. Device manager in windows shows de HID device as usual. But no LED and output.

The display is plain dead, The Led only works in DFU mode.

Can it be a faulty hardware, Usb Power cord, HDMI ? anything like that?

Might be an idea to try a support ticket.

If using an old piplay you might be able to try switching to video mode. Just be sure to switch back to pimax mode before running pitool
