Yes here

Looks amazing!!!..

Thanks for the video post. The graphical quality looks way better than a Gear VR. Out of interest, when using a VR headset, can you turn the monitor off when using the HMD?

My untrained eye is thinking it uses more GPU power to simultaneously display graphics on a monitor and graphics on headset? If I’m correct, wouldn’t leaving the monitor on when using the HMD reduce the graphics quality what could otherwise have been maxed out on the headset? E.g. turn supersampling up?

Sorry if it’s a uneducated question but I’ve never experienced a VR headset tethered to a PC before.

May I ask, what are the pieces of black debris on the middle of the image, dust on the lens maybe?

The lens with dust, debris and some scratches; typical in a prototype.

Image of the eye.

That looks like crap on top of the lense. Probably just needs a wipe

Nice, but i rather look at distance objects in Project Cars. That gives me an idea how good the lenses is.

Ooooh Yeah!! Finally showing off the important things. Project cars shmoject cars, robo recall schmobo recall. Its all about them anime tiddies.
Semi joking here. Or not, Test run of Waifu Sex simulator when???

Generally Yes you can shut off the monitor, but running the display isn’t really hogging any GPU Power.

Also, we all know you really just want to use it for VR porn and no one who walks in sees what your doing.

Would adding a DisplayPort splitter prevent GPU waste on a monitor and HMD duo ?

No,
That would most likely cause other far more severe problems.
