Ever thought about telepresence?
It is a vastly under-researched field that can have a huge impact on our world.
The PiMax 8k is an astounding product. And as GPU’s become more powerful VR will become indistinguishable from real life. But that is only one part of the equation.
As a start, PiMax can develop a telepresence exoskeleton for business. The exoskeleton would be securely mounted to the ground or a wall so that the user can move in all dimensions without obstruction or unassociated vibration.
The idea I have is an exoskeleton where the user steps into, adjusts to fit their size, then secure the exoskeleton to themselves. The actuators could be pneumatic, with safety limits in power and force, to provide force feedback.
The last step is to fit the headset to enter VR.
