Download the new beta 1.2.53. Has OCULUS mode which plays OCULUS home games and apps after downloading any thing from OCULUS home app rest computer and will now come up in pimax click on OCULUS mode and the games will play. Hopefully soon they will make dirt rally and assetto Cora work this easily from steam can buy from OCULUS home but I already have on steam.
I have no problem with assetto corsa using revive. Works amazingly on new beta.

No I have revive but still don’t know how to work assetto Corsa . Please help
Assetto Corsa Ok now kept trying. Used revive and used patch from revive from right side of task bar when you right click on it and then go into hard drive where you downloaded games to. Then go to steam apps then common then assetto Corsa then click acs I think it was acs can’t remember one of these files then it goes to revive bit them click ok then it should add the patch may have to retry if not. Any way assetto Corsa was worth the effort it looks better than project cars. New to pc gaming what a nightmare to learn these things you watch YouTube videos and they talk all loads of shit to get things working. Also needed to update revive to get assetto Corsa and dirt to work for me must of downloaded old version. Pimax 4k has been hard work to get running properly from shit piplay apps, to adding patches to game files, reinstalling and downloading piplay apps. But got there in the end and some games look great on it. Hope they keep updating piplay to make it even better like eye adjusting on new beta

Thing about PC gaming is every tweak and tip you learn is part of experience. It pays of. And now you have learned about revive, next one will be easy !

I think the VR is much more everything in it. The world scale.
If you go to your Documents folder
and
then the Assetto Corsa folder
then Cfg
you will see a config file in there called oculus
if you right click on that and edit with notepad
there is a line
PIXEL_PER_DISPLAY=
If you change that number you will notice a sharper clearer image, take it easy, depending on graphics cars anything upto 2.5 (i have it at 1.5)
another great tip
Press both ‘Look Left’ and ‘Look Right’ buttons (or CTRL+SPACE) to reset your view. You can also hold these buttons in and move your head to get the perfect match then release them to lock the position.
so if you have a wheel you can put the look left and right on two buttons and press them to recenter your view.
also to help motion sickness you can select the lock horizon option in one of the menus

Hi, I am going to install PIMAX 4K today and I have just downloaded the latest setup 1.2.53 where is stated “extend mode” no longer exist. My question is: when I plug in the first time the cable do I still have to set the screens as extended as for point 3.2 of the installation instructions?
Note: to run Oculus apps do I still have to install Revive too?

No you don’t have to install revive for OCULUS home. Only have to install revive to play dirt rally and assetto Corsa If you want to play these start steam vr then revive will come up in the corner of task bar then follow the steps above. just leave it in pimax mode and 60 on eye adjusting settings. Good luck setting up.
