Its really a shame that you had to have a bad experience before you were able to configure it right, hopefully the Pimax Experience Tool will come sooner than later and will make it more Plug&Play !
if you never experienced OLED HMDs try it, OG Vive has one of the best brightness, blacks & colours saturation on market if not the best.
Just run some dark game & see how headsets should look like, unfortunately resolution is bad but what a colours though! You may find a way of using it for horror games, Alyx also has lot of dark scenes just try it.
If you already tried OLED screens nevermind, but I think everybody who enjoys VR has to try it.
