Ah right; It really does have servos doing the physical adjustments, then? Neat!

I just sent my second email to them. Lets see if they respond soon

Quite possible but as Seb said as well controlled demos. So likely optimized to some extent.

Possibly. I will still use it. Maybe I can optimize my project around it. I mean still good, but that would be better if that was sort out better

Sounds like you need to uninstall then re-install the Compass tool to fix the glitch.

Anyway, I hope you get the blurryness fixed. In the meantime you can keep testing more games to see which ones are compatible.

Keep in mind @VR-TECH’s headset will calibrate more through cloud as I recall this was something different.

Not at all, I have done that. I tested Vader Immortal, and the sense of FOV is truly outstanding. I think the blurriness may be part of the lens design to eliminate screendoor. I almost feel compelled to open the unit and see whats up. But I may not want to because i can see the Eyetracking system being properly set up around the lenses. Will see. Still a usable headset

i think there is something wrong with your unit,do you got more immersion because the field off view and ofcourse the colors and blacks?

Calling for a unit exchange would be the last resort. First step is to communicate the matter, If all fails then I will suggest for a headset exchange of RMA. Have you received you unit yet

Hello,not yet…

I hope they can fix it… i cant work on a project when the visuals are blurry in the center.
There must be something wrong here…

Well is not just blurry on center, is all throughout uniformly blurry. Just that you would expect that the center focus area be sharp.

Thats very strange…

There must be something wrong…otherwise more people would have mention that who tried the device…

To be frank. I am the first one I know that have tested and written publicly of the newly released unit. I’d like to read from others that have received the first batch of released headsets

Lets see what starvr has to say then to your questions .

Right, it will be great if you receive your unit soon then we can compare results. If you don’t have the issue I am dealing with then I will now that is the unit and not a design flaw

Do you think it was worth the purchase even with the blurriness?

I think it should be workable for my needs.I will have to plan how I set my assets on the environment more carefully. Certainly I will have to do lots of previewing to see the distances where the blur is more pronounced. It is possible my unit has an issue. Maybe John can chime in once he test his

Well if you consider before these units were in controlled settings vs being in the wild. It may take time too for the headset to calibrate itself to ones system.
