Its funny but this is the closest headaet feature-wise to a Pimax.

Indeed be interesting to see how it rates. Though for professional Sim use(NASA and such) likely top marks.
Mechanical auto adjusting ipd. Though spoiler Tyriel has said it is not working him and why no full review yet. I do wonder if the auto ipd also does auto eye relief.
He does correct a booboo apparently only $8k 
.

Haha its basically the real Pimax8K$
Funny part is with all the extra related side purchases and upgrades . My path to a complete 8kx feels like it will end up being half of that XTAL cost when its all said and done.

Well keep in mind you can’t count your pc upgrades. 
You can if they were solely for the Pimax. 
Maybe but you’d require the same upgrades for the 8k Xtal. 
Plus bulldog neck to support long play sessions.
