I am a backer from the (good?) old 5K+ days, but moved away from Pimax the last years.
But now I have ordered the Crystal Super (being delivered hopefully soon), and wanted to come back to this forum, only to see very low activity (0-2 postings per day). Is there a better place to discuss all things Pimax nowadays?
The Pimax subreddit or discord would be the main places now. The internet has moved away from forums in general unfortunately.
Yes itās very quiet on here now. The Pimax subreddit is always busy, and the various discord servers are very busy

You just will need to keep in mind to not be overly critical on the Discord or else you may find yourself censored. That made me avoid it as it is difficult to get an objective picture of the public opinion in such a curated feelgood environment for Pimax.
I assume reddit may be less prone to active steering, but admittedly havenāt checked it out for myself - there wasnāt too much to discuss other than a weird announcements strategy. But the Super admittedly is a pretty tempting headset, so I will keep an eye on it while waiting for the Deckard to compare to likely wildly different concepts and make my life miserable trying to choose between themā¦ (although the low-ish resolution may kill the Deckard for me if the leaks are true).
So please post your impressions in this forum (too).
I think this is the problem with the Forum.
Pimax moved away from large FoV and that was their USP. Now the VR scene is more fragmented than ever.
If Pimax built a wide FoV HMD with 140+FoV Iām sure a lot of us would pick it up and these Forums would be back levels of the past.
But look at the HMDs to choose from now.
