I own a Crystal, and I see a lot of announcements for software or firmware improvement for the Crystal Light.
But what about the Crystal ?
Are all those improvements also for the Crystal ? Or should we already considere our Crystal as out of date ?
ya this is really starting to piss me off. Every marketing, promotion etc has been for the Light as well. Its like we were stupid for pre ordering and purchasing a Crystal OG . As an early buyer a Crystal Light with eye tracking is what I wanted but went for the Crystal OG anyway. Once again I reserved for the Crystal Super and no option to buy what I want after waiting 5 months and reserving. PRIME which we can’t seem to get if we want it with no explanation. Does this mean that OG users don’t get access to early software enhancements etc?!

I’m referring to the lasts announcements of improvements and new firmware being only for the crystal light, and wondering about the crystal.
I’m not talking about any beta program or whatsoever.
When is the Crystal super Light due?
As with the Crystal, which saw the half-price “Light” coming, will there also be a “Light” for the super?
That would be great for those who were fooled into pre-ordering their Crystal in 2022!
Hi PimaxQuorra, unfortunately, this does’nt answer to my question, about the Crystal being not targeted by the software or firmware updates, about which we saw regular announcements…
We believed the Crystal headset firmware is now stable, meaning major bug fixes are unlikely.
However, Pimax Play’s general updates (including new features and improvements like smart smoothing, local dimming, etc.) will still be compatible with the Crystal.
Crystal Super Light?!
Afraid this is not going to happen.
I was wondering if the pimax crystal light will get a new revision. Everything is the same only the casing is from the pimax crystal super? I think lots of people would buy that headset.
The concept of smaller housing warrants further exploration.
