Link Box - DisplayPort Signal Booster/Repeater?

I would like to encourage Pimax to develop or help me find a DisplayPort signal repeater/booster that will work with the 5K+ at 90Hz and Large FOV.

In our studio, we have been using a 10 meter set of extensions for HDMI, DisplayPort and USB with the Vive-Pro and Oculus Rift CV1 for a long time.

So far we have been unsuccessful in finding any way to extend the DisplayPort signal for the Pimax reliably beyond 3 meters. This cable works:

Anything longer than that becomes unreliable especially at high refresh rates and wide FOV.

With the Vive-Pro I believe part of our success is the fact that they use a link box. We can use a high bandwidth long distance optical DisplayPort cable like this and it works:

Using that same cable and passive DisplayPort Female/Female couplers does not work with the Pimax.

We have tried other off the shelf DisplayPort amplifiers and signal boosters like this one, but again they do not work. I think part of the issue is that they are only rated for 4K@60Hz:

Please help me and other users who need to have the headset distant from the computer.

I obviously dont need the switching feature, but it seems to work fine as an active DisplayPort coupler.

There are occasionally sparkles that I see on black screens but rebooting usually clears them up. I’ve been running with the Large FOV and 90Hz for a week or so with minimal issues.
