What is the maximum distance I can have between two lighthouses V2? I have two stands about 7 ft. tall.

FAQ on the Steam website says no more than 16 feet / 5 meters apart: Steam Support :: Index Base Station & Lighthouse Tracking
The 1.0 base stations could do further than that if you use the sync cable. When they are close enough together the two base stations use an optical signal to sync. Further than that, you use a cable to provide sync. Iām not sure if the same is true of the 2.0 base stations.
